Can I Just Brag A Little?

It's the simple things in our everyday lives that stir our hearts.

And so here are a few things in the past week of my life that made me feel so blessed that I wanted to brag about 'em......

My adorable granddaughters Cassidy, 7 and Chloe, 19 months

Good things to eat! I am blessed to have a wonderful grocery store in my area called Wegmans. They are making quite a name for themselves and now have locations all over the northeast. Their bakery is exceptionally good. This Chocolate Pudding Pie is beyond words. My son, husband and I ate two of them in little over a week......really!

I have the best girlfriends! They all came over my house with lots of goodies to eat and we spent most of the day Saturday eating and laughing. The pictures are not so great but you can see their personalities coming through. Someone said something about angels and well, there they are behind the couch!

What have you been blessed with this past week?

Simple Joys

"This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it."
                                                                                          Psalm 118:24

Following is a pictoral story of the simple joys of my day today.....

The smell of a pot of homemade sauce cooking on the stove all day....

Freshly baked pumpkin cookies ready to decorate.....

A visit from my daughter Jena and granddaughter Chloe

Chloe trashing my living room with her toys!.............

My son Michael coming home from school.....

A visit from my granddaughter Cassidy and her Mom, my daughter
Candice

My husband Frank coming home from work.....

My family thought I was crazy waiting at the door to take their picture when they arrived. But as I thought about the simple joys of my days, these are the things that matter the most and bring the most joy.

What fills your day with joy?

NaNa's Bragging Rights

Since it is my right as a NaNa, I get to brag about my grandchildren once in a while.

The youngest, Chloe Ann (after me....more bragging), will be 1 year old exactly one month from today on August 10th.

She is just getting cuter everyday and since she came out looking the spitting image of her father, I told my daughter today that she is losing some of that and is starting to look a little like her!

Here is my trip down memory lane in some of my favorite pictures.....

Don't you just want to bite her little cheeks?
